TCM Girl of the Year, Natalie Reed
2017 Girl of the Year

On January 13, Natalie Reed was announced as the 2017 TCM Girl of the Year. Natalie is the 9 year old daughter of Aaron & Amanda Reed of Moreauville, LA. She is a fourth-grader attending Sacred Heart School. Natalie enjoys gymnastics, cheering, competing in pageants, and promoting her personal platform: Autism Awareness. Natalie’s older brother is autistic, and along with her mother, she travels across the state to raise funds and awareness on autism. Over the past year, she volunteered nearly 400 hours. Natalie reigned as International Jr Miss, Miss Louisiana Princess and placed top 15 (out of 65 contestants) at the International Jr Miss Scholarship competition in July 2016 on her first attempt. As TCM Girl of the Year, Natalie will be awarded a cash scholarship, year supply of gifts from including Pageantry Magazine, Neuro, photo sessions with Photo-Bella, and a variety of other gifts. She even wins a trip to Disney World! She will also travel across the country promoting volunteerism, being a role model and good will ambassador, while also promoting excellence. The Crowning Moment shows first hand that it’s more important to wear their crowns on their hearts by serving others.
