The Crowning Moment

Ever wanted to become a super hero to save the world? In 2018, I stepped into a role that changed my life and helped me become a protector of the planet: Elite Miss Louisiana Earth USA. The pageant's platform was environmental awareness and it didn't take long for me find my passion to want to educate and raise awareness about recycling, conservation, and sustainability. Through my year I visited 13 states, traveling over 21,000 miles, and volunteered over 2,100 hours for others and our planet. For my Think Global, Act Local project for competition, I used my platform, "Calling All Superheroes to help #SavetheWorld," to inspire individuals in 17 states, 23 countries, and on all 7 continents, to participate in environmental acts to save the world. After 147 appearances, I was ready to compete at Elite Miss Earth USA in Las Vegas. I finished Top 8 and took home the awards for Director's Leadership and High Point Media Interview. Now, it's time to move into the next phase: Life After the Crown.

I wasn't ready to give up on promoting my platform and felt it was important to also teach my clients the importance of being a role model, even without a crown. Today I use my YouTube channel, social media, and my website to continue to educate, promote, and inspire others to take their first steps in becoming superheroes.
